We provide free, confidential, independent and impartial information and advice to people of Sittingbourne, Sheppey and Faversham to help resolve their legal and money problems.
We have three branches in Faversham, Sheppey and Sittingbourne. As well as providing drop-in services for clients most weekdays, a phone enquiry line is available four days per week and we offer advice by email.
Appointments are available for a range of support including benefits, debt, housing, a duty solicitor and form filling.
The quality of advice given to clients is assured through adhering to the Citizens Advice Membership Scheme.
We have 18 paid staff including management, advice session supervisors, specialist advisers and outreach advisers.
The majority of the workforce are volunteers with over 50 volunteer advisers during the last year. We are always looking for new volunteers to join our team.
A Board of up to 15 members oversees policy and planning. The members of the Trustee Board are also volunteers drawn from the local community with three nominated by Swale Borough Council and one by Faversham Town Council.
